Hello everyone!
I’ve written a few news articles at work now, and a good part of my day consists of going through mail from various correctional institutions across America or corresponding with legal or news writers concerning stories large and small.
I was inclined to post all of these news stories and address many of the issues I’m encountering in these letters here… but I think these two domains are too variant. This will remain my primary Substack, where I post essays, stories, film reviews, and any and all reflections or ideas I end up typing on this platform.
Prison News will be my second Substack. If you’re interested in prison reform, or the literature and stories of the incarcerated, or the news articles that I write (focusing mainly on contemporary legal news and daily headlines) please consider subscribing there.
I’ve already posted several of my short news stories
Prison News will be where I post news articles, correspondences with inmates, prison stories, and updates concerning prison reform and prisoner advocacy.
At some point I want to develop my fiction and begin posting some of my longer stories on Substack. At that point I might put some of those series behind the paywall but for now, and for the foreseeable future, all content is free. Obviously if you want to pay for a subscription and help support me that would be deeply appreciated but I’m simply happy having people read what I write.
As for this, it will not change. I’m working on:
The Schism of the Elites - Fracture Lines
The Death of Jordan Neely as an Allegory of Modern Leftism - Toxic Narratives Abound
How to Use a Dating App (Lesson 3) - Know Your Audience
&
The Feminist Paradox - If You Were as Capable as Men in Male Pursuits… You Wouldn’t Need Feminism
I’ll also post 1-2 more sections of a short story which I began several weeks ago, and finish an essay about religion and cosmology. There’s plenty more to come and I appreciate your patience very much.
The pace of my life has increased (and the quality improved) considerably in just the past month. Hopefully this trendline doesn’t persist or I’ll be stuck in absolute euphoria and writing 100,000 words a day soon.
As always, thank you so much for reading.
