The outstanding story within our swirling and feverish media ecosystem during the past week has been the British Grooming (Rape) Gang scandal’s re-emergence. There have been panicked responses from British politicians and police and intelligence figures and the familiar strategy of using immigrants and nonwhite people as a memetic shield to block prominent people and careers from criticism. As I wrote last week:
I think this may be the issue that breaks the Leftist-multicultural power structure. I hear no response to it whatsoever: no denials or reframings or deflections… only a deeply uncomfortable silence.
The reality that their ideals, implemented within the power structure, led to the rapes of thousands of girls seems to be too much for their distributed information suppression complex to handle.
The reality of the situation is truly revolting. I knew it was bad… but not as bad as it was.
Brendan O’Neill:
:Think of the hideous abuse suffered by that extraordinary French woman, Gisèle Pelicot, sedated and raped by dozens of French men, organized by her husband. Now think of that kind of organized gang-bang — but make it close to ubiquitous in some towns and the victims under-age girls: raped, brutalized, mutilated, beaten, their lives destroyed. Yes, it was that bad. Tens of thousands of rape victims across the country.
Why was this allowed to go on for so long? For the same reason the Catholic Church covered up child rape for decades, and Dick Cheney covered up torture. Because the orthodoxies of Catholicism, of the American military, and, in this case, the multicultural experiment were respectively involved.
The truth damns the multicultural project in Britain. Rather than integrating these men of Pakistani heritage, insisting that they adopt the laws and mores of the native population, and treating them like everyone else, the UK elites celebrated cultural difference, enabled the siloing of these populations, bemoaned their own white working-class populations, and forbade any criticism of Islam. So if you called out this stuff, you were instantly called racist.
In all the major cases, I’ve found no reported evidence of Pakistani or Muslim girls being groomed and raped — only poor, white natives… Racist insults were common as these girls were brutally abused. These were not just rapes, but hate crimes of a grisly sort.
These acts are from years past, but they were never properly acknowledged or accounted for. After all, the idea that thousands of white people could be grievously victimized by brown ones in Great Britain is simply an incoherent concept for some people these days. The rape of children is the kind of thing that every decent person recoils from though. The chickens are coming home to roost, I think.

:
I’ve said this for far too long.
The need to censor, throttle, deplatform, demonitize, debank, etc. comes from a need to protect manipulative narratives and maintain a monopoly on what is said to be “true.”
If events such as COVID, vaccines and vaccine injuries, Israel-Palestine, Ukraine-Russia, Hunter Biden laptop, Jan 6th, Trump assassination attempts, etc. were anchored by Truth, every individual and institution involved—from Big Pharma and corporate-captured scientists to the Bidens and the US corporate media—would openly welcome debate, questions, dialogue, transparency and scrutiny. But alas, they all readily dodge accountability and do not ever want to be challenged.

:
For most of human history, humans were trapped in poverty by geographical limits on the ability to produce enough food to survive and produce.
There is, however, a narrative that shows humanity’s struggle to overcome that vital geographical constraint. That struggle to innovate new technologies, learn new skills associated with those skills, cooperate together in social organizations to achieve common goals, and compete against other organizations for scarce resources accidentally resulted in human material progress.
Not immediately. It actually took millennia. But it happened nonetheless. And we are the beneficiaries of that struggle. So let’s take a moment to thank our ancestors. And let’s take another ten minutes or so to see how they accomplished it.

Here are the facts. Jordan Neely was being belligerent, and threatening, and launching at people, and throwing things on the fucking subway. He said that he was ready to die, wanted to go back to jail, and was going to fucking kill people. The people were scared on that train. The passengers were scared. The mothers were trying to cover their children. That is when Daniel Penny intervened and put Neely in a chokehold to restrain him.
And guess what? I really don’t see this being reported, but there were two other guys helping Daniel Penny to restrain Jordan Neely, and neither of them looks white. Plus, Penny’s fellow passengers, including a black man and black woman, have said that Neely was terrifying and that Penny did the right thing. Yet, for some reason, the media seized on a race narrative.
Maybe I’m mistaken but I’ve seen the video and it doesn’t look like that chokehold was strong enough to cause asphyxiation. The forensic evidence found that Jordan Neely was still alive when that NYPD finally pulled up. Cops refused to resuscitate him because he was dirty and the police understandably didn’t want to risk catching hepatitis or something. So, Jordan Neely died.

:In the weeks since the election, prominent progressives like Last Week Tonight host John Oliver and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki have doubled down on the messaging wars, attempting to confuse and shame voters for caring too much about trans issues. In a heated rant, Oliver claimed that there are “vanishingly few trans girls competing in high schools anywhere,” that there is “no evidence” that it’s unsafe or unfair for boys to compete against girls, and — in any case — “it is very weird for you to be so focused on this subject!”
Unfortunately for Democrats, it doesn’t seem to be a messaging problem. The more the public learns about trans issues — like paediatric gender transition and “gender-inclusive” sports and spaces — the less supportive they become. People resent being manipulated and lied to, even if the speaker sincerely believes it’s all in service of a good cause. And the more sunlight trans issues attract, the less people are willing to believe the cause is noble and just.
Let’s try to improve this world slightly in 2025. One possible national resolution, which we might all adopt: no more mass rapes of children, no more police cover-ups, no more using identity as a shield for evil or corruption or power-seeking. Right?
