You can only only know what is true, but you can believe anything.

The way in which the wealthiest westerners who have massively benefited off the last 80 years of domestic and international looting pretend that it wasn’t them but all of us in the west who have benefited and thus have “morel debt” is one of so many two-step moves they make on a daily basis to slip the noose.
It’s a giveaway how guilty they feel. This same guilt and denial are the main emotional driver behind their woke-washing and other perverse behaviors.
It doesn’t work on your average person who is living paycheck to paycheck, only on a set of perverse upper middle class and wealthy.
And what’s most hilarious about this is that they never actually stopped looting in any way, in fact increasing it on a constant basis. From the use of the international finance and trade orgs to continually demand more for less from the third world, creatively abusing the working classes and grabbing higher rents at home, nothing gets better for the domestic population they hate, or the people of “poor countries” they praise with idiotic talks about indigenous rights and decolonization while they continue to loot and destabilize. They love putting forward people like this fake “Nobel” winning economist as useful cover. That’s all she is. All she’ll ever be.
“[S]cientists should be deeply concerned with the possibility that people with strongly ideological and political motives, many of which are ambivalent at best and hostile at worst to the core values of scientific inquiry, might establish themselves as the body of working scientists and arbiters of what science can and should be done and for what reasons. Rigorous epistemology and a certain willingness to let the cards fall where they may and to have one’s ideas proven wrong will suffice.
The thing is, it is extremely likely that a majority of working scientists, at least outside of the social sciences, are keenly aware of the ways in which Social Justice can corrupt science, its conflict with the core values of science and science education, and its potential costs and implications. Nevertheless, it appears that they are letting it happen. Why would they do this?
There’s no real mystery in this question. Most of the scientists who see the writing on the wall and wish they could do something about it will eagerly tell you precisely why they don’t speak and act against the creeping woke hegemony they know will eventually corrupt their disciplines, possibly for generations. They’re afraid. They’re afraid they’ll be fired. They’re afraid they’ll be blacklisted from jobs, tenure and research funding opportunities. They’re afraid they’ll become thorns in the sides of the administration, especially the Grand Wizards of their institutions’ Offices of Diversity and Inclusion, and targets of the newly minted campus inquisition Bias Response Teams, and never have another peaceful day to get real work done.”

I like to imagine succinct, penetrating questions to ask these actors which get to the root of our problems.
The one I would ask in this case is: what are some examples of mis/disinformation which have benefitted mainstream progressive and institutional narratives? Can you name some disinformation which has been promulgated by trans activists or pro-vaccine scientists or Democrat party organizers?
I would love to hear their answer... and if it's 'no' or 'none' the game is up. If they have some exemplary instances I would ask: what are you doing and what have you done about them?
Otherwise 'disinformation' just seems suspiciously like 'any facts or ideas that we disagree with'.
