Simply infuriating to see this kind of completely preventable thing happen to American towns and cities. Power corrupts, and some folks are just more susceptible to it than others.

If voters just watched video clips of candidates speaking or in debates, their incompetence would be readily apparent. I am certain that this would be the case with all the leaders you mentioned.

While not as dramatic as these examples I would argue that Denver’s Mike Johnston is in some ways even more dangerous. He’s just as bad for the city, just as corrupt, and looks smooth doing it because he has rich friends and knows how to spell.
