The GOP is pro-balanced budget and against the ballooning debt... until a Republican president is elected and then the issue mysteriously vanishes. Democrats are deeply concerned with mass shootings and violent radicalization… unless those shootings complicate their moral narratives or the violent radicals happen to be Democrats.

These flagrant double standards are everywhere. Debates and ideas are harmful and contribute to transphobia. Criticism of the police is totally fine, even though police are often targeted because of their roles and public rage at their existence.
K-12 education is super important, especially for poor black districts… unless that requires evaluating teachers or distinguishing between great ones and bad ones, in which case it’s strenuously opposed by the unions and the democrat party itself.
Athletes and celebrities should be encouraged to support social reforms and express their brave stances… unless that involves any word on the racist and totalitarian super-state of the Chinese Communist Party, in which case all pressure must be brought to bear to make sure no one says anything and anyone who deviates is harshly penalized.
Caption: brave advocate for domestic violence awareness whose own credible acts of domestic violence are probably false and totally not a big deal
Allegation of domestic abuse are “rarely” fabricated (how could anyone ever really know this I wonder?) unless the allegations are being made by a man (like Johnny Depp) in which case they can safely be minimized and dismissed outright.
